Healthier, Wealthier & Wiser Every Single Day

This idea is simple.

Incremental change

How much of this incremental change is up to you.

Is there a catch?

Yes there is!

You’ve got to do it every day. Every single day. No exceptions. Every day.

What Should You Do Everyday?

That’s entirely your call. Just something that makes you either healthier, wealthier or wiser.

Do something you’ve always wanted to try. Or something you enjoy doing. Or something you avoid, something hard, but something you know deep down you should probably be doing.

My take? Yes to all of it.

The main idea here is this - you only need to do 5 minutes of it. That is all - 5 minutes.

If it feels too hard, if you're out of your depth, if you think you're not good at it, or you're short on time - none of that is a reason to skip a day as you will only doing it for 5 minutes tops.

Just come back tomorrow and give it another go.

Some days, you'll enjoy it so much that 5 minutes becomes 10 or more. Let that be a bonus but it’s not the requirement.

The Real Benefit

By doing something regularly, you’ll naturally improve albeit over time and to varying degrees.

And through that persistent improvement, you’ll become healthier, wealthier and wiser at the things you have chosen.

That’s where it really starts to matter.

These three words stand on their own.

I mention them separately because each one deserves focus.

The goal is to do one thing a day that fits each of these outcomes.

Simplicity and repetition are the keys.

Enjoyment matters too.

Actually, I think enjoying it is as important as doing it regularly. It’s what will keep you coming back.

Now and then you’ll look up and surprise yourself at the progress you’ve made. And every so often, you’ll be truly surprised. You’ll find yourself doing things you never thought were possible.

That’s when motivation starts to run on its own.

Do something 5 minutes a day that makes healthier, wealthier and wiser.

Why Breaking It Down Matters

The point of this is to take something daunting, and cut it into tiny, manageable and easy repeatable pieces.

Say I asked you to meditate for 30 minutes every day. You might try a few times, but odds are you’d hit a wall.

Learn a new language - ditto, same same.

Too hard. Too much. Not enough time.

But if I asked you to do it for only 5 minutes, that’s doable.

You’d be more likely to find time.

You might even find yourself stretching it out when it feels good.

So what are we talking about really? 15 minutes a day. Five minutes for each goal.

You can do it in the morning, at lunch, at night. All at once or in parts. Whatever works for you.

What Could All This Look Like?

Healthier might mean stretching, walking, dancing, deep breathing.

Wealthier might mean reading about money, listening to a podcast, learning something small about finance.

Wiser might mean reading a page, jotting some thoughts in a notebook or learning a new skill.

Start with things that interest you. Things that lift you up, even if you only do 5 minutes of them.

Accept that you’ll be bad at some things in the beginning.

You may feel awkward or wonder why you’re doing it.

Just do it for 5 minutes and come back tomorrow.

If you still hate it in a week, change it. Experiment, do something different.

Start small but do it often.

Being healthier doesn’t mean running a marathon. It means doing something physical that gives you energy.

Being wealthier isn’t only about making more money. It can be about understanding money and your finances better.

Being wiser doesn’t mean a university degree. It could be learning something useful or unique or that you are passionate about, one step at a time.

And if you truly believe you don’t have 15 minutes a day for yourself, then may I suggest you start by spending 5 minutes on that very problem.

Give it a go and let me know how it goes.

Healthier, wealthier & wiser every single day.
